In 2025, as we witness the early stages of a shift in the structure of the world order, the designer stores in midtown Manhattan are busy as usual, and a $400 million makeover is on the horizon. Despite the ongoing ruthless wars, climate change deniers, and systemic racism, midtown Manhattan residents and tourists navigate from store to store in their private world, seemingly untouchable by the dramatic changes taking place in the world today.

Midtown Manhattan is a distinct area in New York City, rich with historic cultural landmarks such as St. Patrick's Cathedral and Rockefeller Center. Midtown serves a unique purpose for each individual walking along its famous streets like Fifth Avenue and Park Avenue. For most people, it is a tourist destination; for the select few, it is called home.
