Part of the "50 States, 50 Protests, 1 Movement", a group of citizens rallied in Waco TX on 19 April 2025 to protest policies of the Trump Administration. Topics mentioned on their signs included immigration, DOGE, data, fascism, impeachment, liberty, due process, and individual rights
I came to photography in my 30s while stationed in Germany, when I found a fascination with the process of photography. I learned that I enjoyed thinking about how to compose photos of the mountains, waterfalls, and castles we saw while traveling. Over the last twenty years, I’ve branched into other subjects as my understanding of the technical and artistic aspects of photo has evolved. Currently, I am employed full-time at the City of Temple and work as a freelance photographer in my free time. I enjoy portraits and concerts, but lately, I'm drawn to photojournalism. I find that documenting how my country is changing under the Trump administration is the most meaningful thing I can do.
